Tips to find a job if you are unemployed: 8 easy steps.


Although unemployment has decreased its percentage, it remains high. Also, these types of surveys do not take into account informal employment, where people do not have the same benefits as graduate jobs do, in a formal company.



The human resources company Randstad advises those without employment, job hunting tools to cope with: "While it is a normal passage through the first stage of frustration, you need to take charge of the situation, regain control and face the future with a positive attitude" they explain.


Here are a few tips to find a job easier if you are unemployed:

1.    Investigate current career outage. Despite high unemployment, there is still a market with unfilled vacancies, with a figure of over 100,000 jobs. The next step is to identify those companies or sectors with high activity that can help in the reintegration.

2.    Update basic tools. Typically, the unemployed have an outdated CV, especially if you have been in the same company for a long period of time. Nothing better to begin with, than updating the curriculum, first detailing the latest features developed and performed at your previous job, so you can make an exhibition of your career.

3.    Start the search. The more time it goes out of employment, the harder it is to get back to the labor market. The accessibility of job portals and the increasingly intensive use of the Internet by companies looking for candidates save lots of time, and allow us to search directly from home.

4.    Prepare the interview.
